Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

The role involves providing acute care nursing services across various units based on staffing needs. Nurses will be assigned to different departments, including but not limited to medical comfort care, surgery, trauma, medical oncology, and nephrology.

Shift and Hours

• Start date: ASAP
• Shift: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM (with a 30-minute lunch)
• 12-hour shift

Patient Ratios

Patient assignments may vary according to need, with typical ratios around 1:6.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital with comparable acuity
• Active, unencumbered RN license in Tennessee (or a multi-state license)
• Current BLS certification is required
• Cerner EMR experience is mandatory

Availability Requirements

• Must be available to work every other weekend
• No on-call duties are required
