Outpatient Infusion Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Outpatient Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in outpatient infusion, particularly in the administration of chemotherapy and other related therapies.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and other infusion therapies to adult and geriatric patients.
• Utilize advanced technology and equipment, including EPIC, Omnicell, Ascom, glucometer, Alaris pumps, and elastomeric pumps.
• Participate in floating assignments as needed.
• Manage blood product administration efficiently.
• Ensure a high standard of care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and Chemotherapy.
• Minimum of one year of experience in outpatient infusion.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse patient age groups, primarily adults and geriatrics.

• Oncology
• Neurological disorders
• Anemia
• Gastrointestinal conditions

Shift Details

Position requires availability for a 5×8 day shift schedule.

Technology and Equipment

Familiarity with technology platforms such as EPIC, as well as equipment like Alaris pumps and elastomeric pumps, is essential for this role.

Additional Information

This position may involve floating to other departments as necessary.
