Sterile Processing Tech (SPT)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sterile Processing Tech (SPT) to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on surgical services.

Schedule

• Monday to Friday
• Shift Hours: 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Maintain sterile supplies and equipment for surgical procedures.
• Assist in the decontamination, cleaning, and sterilization of surgical instruments.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations.
• Collaborate with surgical and nursing teams to facilitate effective patient care.
• Monitor and manage inventory of sterile supplies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in sterile processing required.
• Certified Sterile Processing Tech (SPT) credential required.
• Acute hospital operating room experience is mandatory.
• At least one prior travel assignment experience is required.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Requirements

• All employees are required to have the flu vaccine.
• No weekend, call, or holiday shifts required.
