Registered Nurse (RN) – MS/Tele Float

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical Float Pool team. This role involves providing high-quality patient care within multiple units, focusing on medical-surgical and telemetry patients.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered nursing care while adhering to facility protocols and standards.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing care plans based on assessment findings.
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and evaluate their effectiveness.
• Educate patients and their families regarding health conditions and care plans.
• Document patient care and progress in compliance with legal and professional standards.
• Participate in the orientation and training of new staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Previous experience in medical-surgical and telemetry nursing preferred.
• Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills.
• Ability to adapt to various clinical environments and work effectively on a float pool team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Schedule

This position requires availability for night shifts, specifically three 12-hour shifts per week.
