Electrophysiology Tech

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Electrophysiology Tech to join our team. This role involves working within the Electrophysiology Lab, where you will provide essential support to ensure the smooth operation and care of adult to geriatric patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in electrophysiology procedures under the supervision of clinical staff.
• Maintain patient safety and provide high-quality care throughout procedures.
• Utilize unit systems including Epic and Pyxis effectively.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Prepare and manage equipment and instruments for procedures.
• Support administrative tasks as necessary within the lab environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a relevant field; first-time applicants are welcome.
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, ARRT R or CCI RCIS or CCI RCES.

Work Schedule and Environment

• Unit operates with a ratio of 1 Tech to every 5 patients, managing 8 to 12 patients per day across 2 rooms.
• Typical shift is a day schedule of 4×10 hours (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM).
• Required to work every other weekend, unless otherwise specified.
• Holiday coverage is expected as follows: work one major holiday if it falls within the assignment period; work two holidays if two major holidays fall within the assignment period.

Compliance and Orientation

Full compliance is required to start on time; failure to meet compliance deadlines could result in a 2-week delay due to the bi-weekly orientation schedule. A clinical screen will be performed to assess clinical fit before a final decision is made.
