Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN)

The main campus Emergency Department (ED) in Zanesville is a Level III Trauma Center, featuring 38 beds and 2 trauma bays, and is ranked among the top 10 busiest EDs in the state. This position requires a commitment to providing high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Shift Information

• Evening Rotating Shifts: 3 PM to 3:30 AM or 7 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekly Commitment: 36 hours
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of recent Emergency Department experience or 3 completed ED assignments
• Certifications Required:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Strongly preferred: Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) and Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC)
• Competency with Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) is required; candidates without this experience will not be considered

Additional Information

This role does not typically require taking call, though rare requests may occur. Requests for excessive time off around holidays will not be approved.
