Physical Therapist Assistant

The Physical Therapist Assistant will provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in accordance with state and federal regulations and facility guidelines. This role involves assisting patients in restoring mobility, improving function, and achieving their treatment goals.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver therapy interventions as outlined in the PT plan of care.
• Document patient progress and responses to treatment accurately.
• Assist with patient education and the implementation of home exercise programs.
• Communicate patient status and any concerns to the supervising PT.
• Adhere to safety protocols, infection control measures, and compliance standards.

Qualifications:

• Graduated from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Possess an active state Physical Therapist Assistant license or have the ability to obtain one.
• Demonstrate the ability to follow treatment plans and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
