Ultrasound Technologist

This position requires a skilled Ultrasound Technologist with expertise in General and Vascular Ultrasound. Candidates must be prepared to float to various units, departments, or patient care areas based on staffing and operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations for both general and vascular studies.
• Adhere to low, mid, and high performer expectations; performance evaluations may impact contract continuation.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure optimum patient care and safety.
• Assist with holiday coverage requirements as necessary.

Qualifications

• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) and Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification required within 18 months of hire.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Valid driver’s license is necessary for possible travel between locations.
• Less than 1 year of experience is preferred.

Shift Information

Day shift, working 4 ten-hour shifts per week. Flexibility to cover holidays is required.
