Surgical Technologist

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist to join our surgical team. This role requires proficiency in scrub and/or circulating for various surgical specialties including general surgery, robotics, transplants, orthopedics, neurosurgery, spine, ENT, GYN, urology, trauma, and organ procurement.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing for surgical procedures and ensuring all necessary equipment is available.
• Participate in a variety of surgical procedures in a fast-paced setting, including Level I Trauma Surgery.
• Support a diverse array of surgical cases such as bariatric surgery, neurosurgery, ENT procedures, orthopedic trauma, spine surgeries, major plastic reconstruction, robotic surgery, and organ transplants (kidney and liver).
• Maintain a sterile environment and assist in infection control practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in kidney transplant, neuro, spine, ortho trauma, and robotics is required.
• Ability to scrub and/or circulate in various surgical procedures.
• Must have prior experience with trauma and neuro surgery.
• Flu vaccination is mandatory prior to acceptance.

Work Schedule

• Position available for night shifts (7 PM – 7 AM).
• No call requirements during night shifts.
• Available for holiday shifts as required by contract.

Additional Information

• Orientation occurs weekly, every Monday (except on holidays).
• Travelers who have worked at the facility as permanent or per diem staff within the last 6 months must have a separation of 6 months before application.
• Parking may cost up to $43 per day or $5 per night during the contract period.
