Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor and Delivery

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with a specialization in Labor and Delivery to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality care to pregnant patients, particularly those requiring closer monitoring or specialized treatment before labor and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Administer high-risk antepart care for patients with conditions such as high blood pressure, preeclampsia, preterm labor, and other complications.
• Monitor patients experiencing vaginal bleeding, placental issues, or those carrying twins or multiples.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive and compassionate care to patients and their families.
• Utilize advanced fetal monitoring techniques to ensure the wellbeing of the fetus and mother.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in Labor and Delivery is required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Basic Fetal Monitoring certifications are mandatory.
• Must possess a valid and unrestricted Ohio RN License or a Compact State RN License.

Shift Details

This position is for the night shift, consisting of three 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM.
