Clinical Interviewer

Job Description

Seeking a skilled clinical interviewer for a 15-week contract focusing on winter planning. The ideal candidate will have robust experience in labor and delivery settings, demonstrating a solid understanding of postpartum care. This role requires direct patient interaction and administration of care for both mothers and newborns.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical settings, particularly in labor and delivery.
• Comfortable with and knowledgeable in various procedures including:
• Cervical examinations
• Antepartum and labor support
• Amnio infusions
• Epidural administration
• Fetal monitoring
• IV placement and management
• Administration of Pitocin
• Circulating in C-sections
• Assisting in baby catching/receiving and newborn care
• Ability to perform APGAR assessments and provide breastfeeding education and support.
• Strong preference for demonstrated comfort in all aspects of postpartum care from transition to discharge for both mothers and babies.
• Scrub experience is a plus; however, a scrub tech will be available on site.
• Familiarity with Epic EMR system is strongly preferred.

Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• Fetal monitoring certification

Additional Information

• Work environment includes a total of 20 beds, with 12 designated for labor and delivery, 8 for postpartum/antepartum, and a 6-bed level II NICU.
• No on-call duties are required.
• Teal scrubs will be provided for staff.
• Ability to communicate in multiple languages, particularly Russian and Spanish, is preferred due to the diverse patient population.
