Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality healthcare in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to individuals experiencing acute medical emergencies.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Manage and monitor patients’ conditions, responding quickly to changes in status.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Utilize appropriate medical and nursing interventions to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using EPIC software.
• Educate patients and their families on managing their health conditions post-discharge.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Room setting.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH (Pending certifications acceptable).
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records is required.

Additional Information

• This position requires travel for a duration of 1 year.
• Local candidates are welcome to apply, with a slight adjustment in compensation.
• Compliance with health regulations including a 2-step PPD test and flu vaccination is mandatory; no exemptions allowed.
• The ER operates in a very busy environment, functioning as a Level 2 Trauma Center, accommodating high acuity patients with an average of 220 patients per day.

Work Schedule

This position consists of three 12-hour night shifts (19:00 – 07:00).
