Interventional Radiology Technologist

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team. This role will involve collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality imaging services in an interventional radiology setting.

Shift Details

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule Options:
  • 4×10 hour shifts (7:30 AM – 6:00 PM)
  • 5×8 hour shifts (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM)
• On-call responsibilities: One weekday call per week and one weekend call every two months

Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology procedures and assist physicians during examinations
• Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during procedures
• Utilize imaging equipment and techniques to obtain accurate images
• Maintain and manage imaging equipment and ensure it is functioning properly
• Adhere to safety protocols and radiology standards

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification required
• ARRT certification required
• Virginia state license required (pending applications accepted with a temporary authorization)
• Ability to work within a 50-mile radius requirement
