Occupational Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide quality therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. The successful candidate will play a vital role in assisting patients to develop and restore functional independence in accordance with state and federal regulations and facility guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Implement therapy interventions as outlined in the Occupational Therapist’s plan of care.
• Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist with patient and family education to promote understanding and engagement in the therapy process.
• Communicate patient status and progress to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Active state COTA license (or ability to obtain).
• Strong teamwork skills and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
