Occupational Therapist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide exceptional occupational therapy services in accordance with state and federal regulations, as well as facility guidelines. The therapist will be responsible for evaluating patients, developing individualized treatment and discharge plans, and delivering therapy aimed at improving patient independence in daily living skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients following physician orders and referrals.
• Develop and update individualized treatment and discharge plans.
• Document services accurately and in a timely manner.
• Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) in accordance with practice acts and facility policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and engage with families.
• Maintain compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (MOT/OTD).
• Active state Occupational Therapist license (or the ability to obtain one).
• Strong clinical, documentation, and communication skills.
