Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with expertise in Telemetry for an exciting opportunity. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic environment, focusing on Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, and Progressive Care Unit (PCU) care.

Shift Details

• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 36 hours per week
• Weekend requirements: Every other weekend and holidays as needed

Job Description

This position involves caring for patients in the Medical/Surgical and Telemetry settings, and it is essential for candidates to have experience with cardiac monitoring. The unit is small, so candidates with rural experience and the ability to work independently will thrive in this role. The RN/Patient ratio is typically 5:1, with higher acuity patients requiring a 3:1 or 4:1 ratio.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience in PCU, Medical/Surgical, and Telemetry
• Certification in Basic Dysrhythmia required
• Previous travel experience is highly preferred
• Experience in small facilities is highly preferred
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a vehicle for transportation
• Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration in New Hampshire is required
• Active American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory

Additional Information

All requested time off during the assignment must be noted at the time of submission, as last-minute requests will not be considered. Travelers are required to work during key holiday periods:

• Thanksgiving Day and the following Friday
• Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and the following weekend
• New Year’s Eve through New Year’s Day and the following weekend

Dress code consists of personal scrubs of any color. Candidates must be able to hit the ground running and adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment.
