Physical Therapist Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to provide therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. The successful candidate will adhere to state and federal regulations as well as facility guidelines to assist patients in restoring mobility, improving function, and achieving their treatment goals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapy interventions as outlined in the Physical Therapist’s plan of care.
• Document patient progress and responses to treatment accurately.
• Assist with patient education and home exercise programs to promote recovery.
• Communicate patient status and progress to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and compliance standards at all times.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Active state PTA license or ability to obtain licensure.
• Demonstrated ability to follow treatment plans and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
