Breast Imaging Technologist

We are seeking a qualified Breast Imaging Technologist with a strong background in diagnostic breast imaging. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various breast imaging procedures and ensuring high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms, including mammography-guided procedures.
• Conduct upright stereotactic biopsies and prone table biopsies.
• Utilize the Hologic Slienia Dimensions and Affirm systems for mammography procedures.
• Operate breast ultrasound equipment, including the IU22 Phillips and GE Pristina systems.
• Document patient information and manage imaging records through the EPIC EMR system.
• Manage patient flow in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing multiple tasks and requests.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.

Qualifications:

• ARRT certification with a Massachusetts mammography certificate.
• ARRT or ARDMS breast ultrasound or breast sonography certification.
• BLS-AHA certification required.
• 3-5 years of diagnostic breast imaging experience in an imaging center.
• Minimum of 1 year experience using McKession PACS image archive storage system.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with upright stereotactic biopsy and prone table biopsy.

This position is full-time, requiring 72 hours biweekly. Candidates must be separated from previous employment to be considered.
