Postpartum Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Postpartum Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position involves caring for new mothers and their infants during the postpartum period, providing essential support and education to ensure a smooth transition to parenthood.

Schedule

• Every Other Weekend (EOW)
• 3×12 Hour Shifts (Day/Night Rotator)
• Preferred Start Date: September 14 or September 28

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to postpartum patients and their newborns.
• Monitor patients’ progress and vital signs, and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Educate new mothers on newborn care, breastfeeding, and postpartum recovery.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Support and encourage mothers emotionally and physically during their recovery.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience in postpartum care preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
