Wound Ostomy Registered Nurse (RN)

Unit Description

This position requires CWOCN or CWON certification to provide specialized nursing care focused on wound, ostomy, and continence management.

Job Responsibilities

• Assess and manage patients with wounds and ostomy needs.
• Develop individualized care plans and implement appropriate interventions.
• Educate patients and families on wound care and ostomy management.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
• Stay updated on best practices and evidence-based approaches in wound care.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Mandatory CWOCN or CWON certification.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in wound care preferred.
