Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Job Description

The Physical Therapist Assistant’s primary role is to execute designated physical therapy procedures and associated tasks under the direction and supervision of a registered Physical Therapist. The Assistant will implement treatment plans involving modalities and exercises tailored to patients’ medical needs, while strictly adhering to their limitations as an assistant. Additional responsibilities include:

• Assisting in maintaining a clean and organized department.
• Completing all required documentation, including daily notes and discharge data.
• Providing care to a diverse patient population, including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of inpatient rehabilitation and Physical Therapist Assistant experience.
• BLS certification (AHA) is required.
• Active state license for Oklahoma is required.

Other Requirements

• Availability for some weekends and holidays.
• No on-call duties are required.
