Respiratory Therapist (RRT-NICU)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Respiratory Therapist to work within the NICU, PICU, and CVICU, providing high-level care to pediatric patients. The ideal candidate will possess an Ohio RRT license and have significant experience in pediatric respiratory care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide respiratory care and monitoring for pediatric patients in critical care settings.
• Utilize advanced life support techniques as required.
• Perform assessments to determine patient care needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Coordinate care often requiring interaction with multidisciplinary teams.
• May float to various locations, including rehabilitation and NICUs within the region as needed.

Qualifications:

• Must hold an active Ohio RRT license.
• Minimum of two years of experience in pediatric respiratory care, specifically in NICU, PICU, and high-level care environments.
• Current certifications in BLS, Advanced NRP, and PALS are required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Work Schedule:

Shifts available include either 3 twelve-hour shifts or 4 twelve-hour shifts.

Additional Requirements:

• Travelers will need to complete two fingerprinting processes: one onsite for facility requirements and another through the agency.
• All work history, including any previous positions, should be included in the application profile.
• Copies of required certifications must be provided at the time of application submission.
