Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, providing care to both adult and pediatric patients in the emergency department.

Position Details

• Shift: Night shift, 3×12 hours (19:00 – 07:30)
• Schedule: Every other weekend and every other holiday are required.
• On Call: None

Responsibilities

• Administer emergency care and assessments to patients in critical situations.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best patient outcomes.
• Utilize Cerner systems to manage patient data and care documentation.
• Maintain current knowledge of emergency services, policies, and procedures.
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding care plans and treatments.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency department setting.
• Completed at least one travel assignment in a nursing capacity.
• Specific certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS.
• Candidates must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms.
• Experience with Cerner electronic health records is mandatory.
