LDRP Registered Nurse (RN)

About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Recovery Postpartum (LDRP) Registered Nurse to join our team. This position involves providing compassionate care to patients during labor and postpartum recovery.

Shift Details

• 3×12 hour shifts, Days (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM)
• Weekend Requirement: Every third weekend
• On-call Requirement: Yes, two 12-hour shifts in a 6-week period

Patient Ratios

• 1:2, 1:1, and 1:3 Couplets

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery experience
• Active SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license
• Certifications:
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • AWHONN Beginner
  • AWHONN Intermediate
  • FHM
  • NRP
• Preferred Certifications:
  • AWHONN Advanced
  • STABLE
• Skills and Case Experience:
  • Couplet Care
  • High-Risk OB
• Experience with Epic charting system

Miscellaneous Information

• Block Scheduling: Requires manager’s approval based on unit needs
• Local Radius: 60 miles; no locals accepted
• All RTO (Request Time Off) must be included at time of submission; approval based on facility needs
• Guaranteed Hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Free parking available for staff

Hurricane Season

Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June to November), all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. Please take this into consideration when scheduling any assignments during this period, particularly during the peak months of August and September.
