Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Pediatrics

About the Position

This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Respiratory Therapist specializing in pediatrics. The selected candidate will work a 3×12 day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with a holiday rotation and weekend requirements every other weekend.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to pediatric patients, neonates, and infants.
• Utilize advanced knowledge and skills in respiratory therapy to facilitate patient recovery and wellness.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor and assess patient progress, adjusting care plans as necessary.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in pediatric, neonate, and infant respiratory therapy.
• Current RRT certification and South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider license are required upon start date.
• Certifications in BLS, PALS, and NRP are mandatory.
• Experience with Epic charting is preferred.

Additional Information

• Block schedule accommodations may be considered upon prior approval.
• A radius rule of 60 miles applies.
• All requests for time off (RTO) must be submitted with the application and will be evaluated based on unit needs.
• Guaranteed hours: the facility reserves the right to call off one shift per two weeks.
