Medical Surgical/Tele Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse for a night shift position. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Start Date: December 7, 2026
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 3×12 or 4×12 (19:00 – 07:30)
• Weekends: Required every other weekend
• Holidays: Required as scheduled
• Floating: Required within specialty, lower acuity as needed

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Maryland
• BLS and NIH certifications required
• ACLS certification preferred
• A minimum of 1 year of experience is required; first-time travelers are accepted

Patient Care Responsibilities:

Work in a unit with an average daily census of 22 patients, managing a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:5. Responsibilities include:

• Providing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients, including those with chronic respiratory issues requiring ventilator support.
• Recognizing and responding to changes in patients’ health status.
• Utilizing the EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) system for documentation and communication.
