Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room

Shift Information

This position requires a commitment to 12-hour shifts, with the expectation of on-call availability as needed.

Experience

A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience is required to qualify for this role.

Certifications and Requirements

• Current Illinois Registered Nurse license
• Current CPR/BLS Card
• ACLS Certification

Job Description

As a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room, you will:

• Assess patients to determine their mental, physical, and spiritual needs.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary health care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Provide clear explanations and instructions to patients and their responsible parties.
• Utilize nursing clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient conditions.
• Contribute to a healthy workplace environment by effectively managing conflicts through professional communication.
• Meet Core Measure responsibilities related to patient care.
• Participate in ongoing continuing education and professional development.
• Maintain complete and accurate medical records for all patients.

Availability for holiday coverage may be necessary.
