Respiratory Therapist (RRT-NICU)

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist with specialized experience in Level 4 NICU and preferred Cardiac PICU. This position requires a commitment to delivering high-quality respiratory care within a pediatric environment.

Work Schedule

• 13, 26, or 52-week assignment options available
• Nights, with shifts comprising 3 x 12-hour durations (19:00 – 07:00)
• Available hours: 36 or 48 per week
• Every other weekend and holiday commitment required
• Self-scheduling model in place; management will provide guidance during the onboarding process

Qualifications

• Must possess Level 4 NICU experience
• Cardiac PICU experience is preferred
• Current RRT certification required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications are mandatory
• Accredited Critical Care Specialist (ACCS) certification is preferred
• Virginia license pending acceptance, with a requirement to obtain a temporary license prior to start; must hold another state’s license to facilitate this
