Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team and provide exceptional therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. This role is essential in assisting patients to develop and restore functional independence in accordance with state and federal regulations, as well as facility guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Implement therapy interventions as outlined in the Occupational Therapist’s plan of care.
• Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist with education for patients and their families.
• Communicate patient status and progress to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Active state COTA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Strong teamwork and patient care skills.
