Operating Room Nurse

The Operating Room Nurse provides essential pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative patient care as part of the surgical team. This position requires a combination of clinical expertise and a commitment to delivering high-quality care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures.

Schedule

• Five 8-hour shifts per week (Monday to Friday)
• Arrive at 6:45 a.m. for daily huddle
• Rotating weeknight and weekend call
• Block scheduling cannot be guaranteed

Experience Required

• A minimum of 5 years of Operating Room experience
• Travel experience is preferred but not mandatory

Licenses/Certifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications are required
• PALS certification is preferred
• CNOR certification is a plus
• Must possess an active NC or compact RN license
• EPIC experience is required

• General Surgery
• Orthopedic Surgery
• Urology
• Gynecological Surgery (GYN)
• C-sections
• Ophthalmology
• Vascular Surgery
• Dental Surgery
• Ear, Nose, and Throat Surgery (ENT)
