ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our team in a stepdown unit serving as a bridge between Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and Intensive Care Unit (ICU). This role will involve working with vented patients and administering critical drips, requiring a high level of expertise in medication management.

Job Details

• Shift: Nights (7 PM – 7 AM)
• Shift Length: 12 hours
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a stepdown unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 3:1.
• Monitor and manage patients with critical conditions, including those on ventilators and receiving critical drips.
• Administer medications and uphold standards for medication management.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related nursing role is required.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS are mandatory.
• Candidates must reside a minimum of 75 miles from the facility, as verified by the address on the traveler’s driver’s license.
