Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department

Join our dedicated nursing team in providing high-quality emergency care. We are currently seeking Registered Nurses for both 36 or 48-hour shifts, with flexible scheduling options available including days, mids, or rotating shifts based on candidate preference.

Unit Overview

Our emergency department serves a vibrant island community, addressing the medical needs of a year-round population as well as a significant influx of seasonal visitors. Our commitment lies in delivering a comprehensive range of health and wellness services within a safe and compassionate environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to individuals in emergency situations.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and document patient progress and responses.
• Participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans.

Qualifications

• Valid Massachusetts RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required upon start.
• Strong clinical and assessment skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
