ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Information

• Role: RN
• Specialty: ICU
• Shift: 7 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48
• Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend required
• Call Requirements: None
• Years of Experience: 3 years of ICU experience
• Float Requirements: Float to Neuro ICU, Surgical/Trauma ICU, Cardiac ICU, CTICU based on experience. Floating to any Intermediate Care Unit within the organization, patient ratios of 1:3 in the IMC.

Education & Certifications Required

• Required Certifications: ACLS, NIHSS
• Education Modules: Consistent with similar skillset in the unit

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 32 (20 Medical, 12 Neuro ICU)
• Patient Ratios: 1:2
• Equipment: Standard ICU equipment
• EMR: EPIC

Hiring Profile

• Must Have Skills/Experience: 3 years of ICU experience
• Preferred Skillset/Experience: 3 years of ICU experience
• Type of Patients on Unit: Patients with medical complications related to sepsis, ARDS, GI bleeds, DKA, and others in a tertiary care and teaching institution.
• Personality Fit: Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to outstanding patient care, effective team communication, and a personal drive for excellence within the organization.
