Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in respiratory care and be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include providing respiratory therapy services, patient assessment, and collaboration with medical staff to ensure optimal patient care.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Perform patient assessments and monitor respiratory status.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Assist in the management of ventilators and related equipment.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory health and treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Must have current RRT certification.
• NBRC and BLS certifications are required.
• Ohio state license must be held at the time of application.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist is required.
• Ability to work weekends and float to various facilities as needed.

Work Schedule

Night shift, working three 12-hour shifts (19:00 – 07:30).
