Certified Surgical Tech (CST)

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Technician (CST) with expertise in various surgical specialties to join our dynamic surgical services team. The ideal candidate will possess at least 2-3 years of operating room experience and demonstrate confidence in the following areas:

• Orthopedics (total joints, spine, and trauma)
• Urology
• Gynecology and Uro-Gynecology
• Vascular Surgery
• General Surgery
• Neurosurgery (spine)
• Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) procedures

Experience with the Da-Vinci XI Robot is required. This position will require participation in on-call rotations and weekend coverage approximately once every six weeks.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the surgical environment to ensure a sterile and safe atmosphere.
• Assist in the setup and management of surgical instruments and equipment.
• Collaborate effectively with surgical teams to maximize patient care and outcomes.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical process.

Work Schedule

This full-time position operates on a block schedule consisting of four 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Weekends will be required for on-call duties only.

Qualifications

• Current CST certification is mandatory.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of OR experience required.
• Proficient in the use of Da-Vinci XI Robot.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
