Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a supportive environment, focusing on enhancing patient communication and swallowing abilities.

Schedule

This position offers a Monday to Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Current New York State license in Speech Language Pathology.
• Graduate of a college or university accredited by the American Speech and Hearing Association with a degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• Preferred experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF).

Responsibilities

As a Speech Language Pathologist, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Conducting assessments to evaluate the speech and language capabilities of patients.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to address the specific needs of patients.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Monitoring and documenting patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Educating patients and their families about speech and language disorders and treatment options.
