Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

The Registered Nurse (RN) will deliver quality nursing care by utilizing the nursing process and collaborating with the healthcare team to maintain high standards of professional nursing practice. Adherence to medical center policies, mission, and established professional and regulatory guidelines is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care through effective patient assessment and implementation of appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure safe and effective care delivery.
• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of nursing practices and procedures by participating in necessary training and development.
• Document patient care and outcomes accurately and timely.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in OR Circulating is required.
• PACU experience is preferred.
• Experience in Orthopedics, OB-GYN, and General Surgery is required.
• Experience in Urology and Ophthalmic procedures is preferred.
• Prior travel nursing experience is preferred.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Active Michigan state nursing license at the time of application is required.

Work Schedule

This position offers a guaranteed 36 hours per week with required on-call availability of 10-11 days per month.
