Mother-Baby Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Mother-Baby Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. In this role, you will provide individualized nursing care to new mothers and their infants in a couplet care setting. Your focus will be on promoting family-centered care while ensuring the health and safety of both mother and baby.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for postpartum mothers and their newborns.
• Assess and monitor the physical and emotional well-being of patients.
• Educate new parents on infant care, breastfeeding, and postpartum recovery.
• Administer medications and perform procedures as necessary.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
• Perform floating duties within skillset as required.

Shift and Schedule

• Shift: Night 3×12-Hour (19:00 – 07:30)
• Weekend: Every other weekend required
• Holiday: Required, as scheduled
• Block Schedules: No

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in mother-baby, couplet care, or postpartum nursing.
• Current NCC C-EFM certification is required.
• AWHONN certification (intermediate or advanced) is preferred but does not meet state EFM requirements.
• STABLE certification is preferred.
• First-time travelers are welcomed and accepted.
