Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in catheterization lab procedures and possess the necessary certifications to provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Cath Lab environment.
• Perform nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and quality care.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Assist during various cardiac procedures.

Shift and Schedule

• Schedule: 4×10 hour shifts (Days)
• On-call requirements: 1 day per week and every 4th/5th weekend.
• Approximately 1 Saturday per month as part of the scheduled shifts.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alaska or pending license (must have license in hand for auto-offer).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab or a related specialty.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).

Skills Required

Skills will be evaluated based on individual assessment and departmental needs.

Additional Information

• Travelers may float to Electrophysiology (EP) or Interventional Radiology (IR) as necessary.
• Time off requests will be considered on an individual basis and limited to one request per 13-week assignment.
• Guaranteed hours: 70 hours over two weeks; travelers may be called off for one 10-hour shift within this period.
