Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg/ER
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both Med Surg and Emergency Room settings, providing care for patients in various capacities, including inpatient, observation, and outpatient services.
Job Details
- Unit Type: ER (Emergency Room)
- Shift Length: 12 hours
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Shift Schedule: Day/Night rotation, every third weekend, and every other holiday.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to hospitalized patients, including those in observation and swing beds.
- Assist outpatient individuals receiving infusions or treatments.
- Deliver critical care to patients presenting in the emergency room.
- Utilize computerized charting and barcode medication scanning through Epic.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Med Surg and/or ER settings required.
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS Certification, PALS.
- Skills: Proficiency in providing care in both Med Surg and ER environments.
- Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs.
Additional Information
Clinicians must badge in and out at the facility. CAH experience is required.
