Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – NICU

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with experience in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) settings. This position requires expertise in critical care and NICU treatments to provide high-quality respiratory therapy for our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver respiratory care to patients in the NICU environment.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation using Epic charting system.
• Participate in all required block schedules, ensuring coverage during assigned shifts.
• Adhere to hospital protocols and standards of practice.

Scheduling & Work Conditions

• Position is scheduled for night shifts: 3 shifts per week (19:00 – 07:00).
• Rotations will include every other weekend.
• Block schedules are implemented to ensure consistent staffing.

Patient Care Ratios

• Expected patient care ratio is 1:15.

Qualifications

• Must possess valid RRT certification.
• Previous critical care and NICU experience is required.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Additional Information

• All staff scrubs are acceptable; specific colors provided for OR/L&D.
• No parking fees for staff.
