Respiratory Therapist – NICU (RRT)

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Respiratory Therapist specializing in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) to provide exceptional care for our patients. This position requires a strong background in critical care and NICU experience, supporting our commitment to high-quality healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to patients in the NICU.
• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols.
• Monitor patient responses and document findings accurately in the electronic health record (Epic).
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to optimize patient care plans.
• Participate in case discussions and contribute to critical pathway development.

Schedule Requirements

• No on-call duties required.
• Weekends required: Every other weekend.
• Block scheduling: Yes.
• Night shifts: 3×12-Hour shifts (19:00 – 07:00).

Qualifications

• Licensed Respiratory Therapist with RRT certification.
• Experience in critical care and NICU settings is essential.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
