Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a medical/surgical unit focused on innovative nursing practices and new technologies. The RN will work a scheduled PM shift and participate in weekend and holiday rotations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a 32-bed medical/surgical unit.
• Manage patient assignments with a ratio of 1:6.
• Participate in self-scheduling within assigned groups, rotating every scheduling period.
• Float to other areas as needed to cover staffing requirements.
• Work one summer and one winter holiday as part of the holiday rotation policy.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
• Must be willing to work every other weekend.
• No local candidates within a 50-mile radius will be considered.
• Pending licenses will not be accepted.

Work Schedule

The position requires PM shifts with a commitment to weekend and holiday rotations. Expect to work a designated holiday if it falls within your assignment period. Any requests for time off must be included in the submission and confirmed in assignment documentation.

Unit Information

This position will be located in a medical/surgical unit dedicated to implementing new technologies and innovative nursing practices. Team members are expected to embrace new equipment and nursing models.
