Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be equipped with the necessary skills to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care in a general emergency department setting, capable of handling combined adult and pediatric emergencies.
• Administer blood products and IV therapy as required.
• Employ critical thinking and strong assessment skills to evaluate patient conditions effectively.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to all safety and quality guidelines specific to a Level II Trauma Center.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid NM license (can pend at the time of submission).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Room setting.
• Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC.
• Must be available to work a minimum of 4 weekend shifts during the schedule period, additional shifts may be required based on department needs.
• COVID vaccination is required, with exemptions accepted subject to documentation.

Shift Details

The position involves night shifts of 4×12 hours, specifically from 19:00 to 07:30.

Working Environment

The Emergency Department is a full-service facility focused on immediate care. Please note that there is no inpatient pediatric, obstetrics, or catheterization lab service available.

• Charting is completed through Cerner.
• Travelers are required to take breaks after completing a series of consecutive assignments.
