Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. This is an urgent need position, with a start date of 10/26 at the latest, to prepare for an upcoming event during the weekend of 10/30.

Shift Details

• Schedule: 4×12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekends: At least 8 weekend shifts required per contract
• Floating: Required as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide care in a General Emergency Department, combining adult and pediatric patient care.
• Administer blood products and manage central lines.
• Perform phlebotomy and initiate intravenous therapy (IVs).
• Conduct continuous IV sedation and administer IV vasopressors.
• Manage procedural sedation and care for ventilated patients.
• Interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs) and assist with CPAP/BiPAP therapy.
• Experience in triage is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, and PALS.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records system is necessary.

Patient Ratios

Typical patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:5.
