Mammography Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience in radiography and mammography. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge and expertise in performing various mammography procedures and will have completed at least one travel assignment.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and screening mammograms.
• Conduct specialized procedures including stereotactic biopsies and needle localizations.
• Utilize Hologic imaging and biopsy equipment effectively.
• Administer fine needle aspirations.
• Pursue excellence in patient care and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in both Mammography (M) and Radiography (R).
• Current state MD Radiographer License.
• BLS certification.
• Proficient in Cerner and mammography-related technology.
• Demonstrated ability in performing 3-D mammography and both prone and upright biopsies.
• Flu vaccine required for all employees.

Schedule

This position requires a 5×8 hour shift, with working hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
