Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide high-quality respiratory care. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience and must hold a current Ohio RRT license.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver respiratory care treatments and services as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Monitor patient responses to therapy and adjust treatments as necessary.
• Educate patients and families regarding respiratory conditions and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient care.
• May float between various locations as needed.
• Availability for weekend shifts and adjustments based on facility requirements.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Ohio RRT license.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Minimum of two years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

Work Schedule

This position requires the ability to work mid shifts in a 4×10-hour schedule. Specific scheduling requests and time-off needs should be communicated during the application and interview process.

Required Certifications

• NBRC certification in hand at the time of submission.
• BLS certification must be current and available for verification.
