Occupational Therapy Assistant

Join our team as an Occupational Therapy Assistant, where you will provide essential support to patients in developing and restoring their functional independence under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. This position requires a commitment to adhering to state and federal regulations, as well as facility guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Implement therapy interventions in accordance with the Occupational Therapist’s plan of care.
• Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist in educating patients and their families about therapeutic processes and home care strategies.
• Communicate patient status and progress to the supervising Occupational Therapist regularly.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Active state COTA license or the ability to obtain licensure.
• Strong teamwork and patient care skills.
