Cath Lab Tech

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Tech to join our team for a 13-week contract. The candidate will assist in performing various procedures in the catheterization lab and contribute to the overall success of the team.

Shift Information

• Day Shifts: 3×12 (06:30 – 19:00) or 4×10 (07:00 – 17:30)
• On-call requirements included

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing catheterization procedures and ensure high standards of patient care.
• Prepare and maintain equipment and instruments used during procedures.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in on-call scheduling, including weekends and holidays as required.
• Float within the department as needed, adhering to the scope of practice.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of recent and strong cath lab experience required; first-time travelers may be accepted.
• Certification: ARRT-R and/or RCIS accepted.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• All requests for time off must be submitted at the time of offer and may not include more than one major and one minor holiday in the fall or winter season.

Additional Information

• Mandatory on-call requirements include approximately 8 weeknights and 4 weekends per 6-week schedule.
• Weekends and holidays as required based on scheduling and department needs.
