Cath Lab Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our team for a contract position. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of recent and strong experience in the cath lab, although first-time travelers are also encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of procedures within the cath lab, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Assist with the setup and preparation of equipment and instruments prior to procedures.
• Collaborate with the medical team to provide high-quality patient care.
• Participate in on-call scheduling, including nights and weekends, as needed.
• Float within the specialty/department as necessary.

Contract Details

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift Options: 3×12 or 4×10 Day Shifts (3×12: 06:30-19:00; 4×10: 07:00-17:30)
• On-call Requirements: Approximately 8 weeknights and 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
• Holidays: Must be available to work on holidays as scheduled

Qualifications

• Active ARRT-R and/or RCIS certification required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong technical skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Additional Information

All requests for time off must be submitted upon offer acceptance and should adhere to guidelines regarding holiday time off. This position requires weekend work as part of the rotation.
